Go outside. Figure it out.

2. We eat dinner together.
We pray & break bread together. Family conversations are important- not everyone scattered around the house with a device in their hand.

3. Childhood doesn’t need to be optimized.
Kids need time to play, explore, create, and just be kids.

4. They need to learn to steward their bodies well.
We eat nourishing food, move our bodies, get outside, and rest—not out of fear or obsession, but because our bodies are a gift from God and worth caring for.

5. Boys need their dad.
There are things a mother can give her sons that are beautiful and necessary—and there are things they need to learn from their father (or strong fatherly figure) period.

6. My boys will know the Bible and who they are in Christ.
Not just Bible stories. I want them rooted in God’s Word so their identity comes from Christ—not sports, grades, popularity, or achievement.

7. Firm, loving boundaries are necessary.
Boys need clear expectations, consistent consequences, and to learn respect.

8. I won’t save my boys from every hard thing.
Hard things build capable people. I’d rather teach them how to face challenges than remove every obstacle.

9. Boys need to take risks—carefully.
Climb the tree. Build the fort. Get dirty. Learn their limits. A little danger, with wisdom and supervision, teaches confidence.

Anything that pulls you into confusion, ego, or self-focus is not alignment. That’s distraction.

I’ve lived both sides—
seeking healing, light, answers…

Some of us are trying to heal spiritual wounds using only physical solutions.

1. Your physical health is deeply connected to your soul—your mind, will, and emotions.
“Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.” (3 John 1:2)

You don’t just need your body healed—
you may need your soul restored.

2. You can do everything “right” physically… and still feel stuck.

Because your thoughts shape your internal world—
and your internal world affects your body.

Neuroscience shows that chronic stress, fear, and thought patterns can dysregulate the nervous system.
Scripture said it first: transformation begins with the renewing of your mind. (Romans 12:2)

3. Bitterness, anger, offense, and hidden wounds don’t stay emotional.
“Bitterness rots the bones.” (Proverbs 14:30)

What you carry internally will eventually show up physically.

4. Unforgiveness goes deeper than most people realize.
(2 Corinthians 2:10–11)

This doesn’t mean your symptoms aren’t real—
or that your body doesn’t matter.

It means your body responds to what your soul believes.

Bitterness, fear, rejection, anger, sorrow, unforgiveness—
they don’t just live in your heart…
they echo through your nervous system.

5. Not everything labeled “healing” leads to truth.

The enemy often works through subtle lies—disguised as light:
“energy,” “manifestation,” “the universe”…

What looks like self-healing and enlightenment can actually be control an spiritually transactional—and it will quietly pull you out of alignment with truth (like it did for me).

And now even science is catching up to what Scripture has said all along:

Healing starts with renewal.
It starts with truth.
It starts with stepping into the identity that was already paid for you.

I know this isn’t trendy or sexy—
but it’s truth.

Healing has always meant to be WHOLE—mind, body, and spirit, fully aligned with God.
